Did Rahul Gandhi And Kamala Harris Talk?
NEW DELHI, (IANS) – Vice President Kamala Harris and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had a telephonic conversation on July 11 evening, some reports said while social media saw strong buzz over Rahul’s interaction.
As reports of a telephonic conversation surfaced between Rahul Gandhi and Kamala Harris, a couple of Congress supporters and loyalists expressed joy over the party MP’s growing international stature while some others claimed that it was a courtesy call from the US Vice-President on Rahul becoming leader of the opposition.
However, the claim stands debunked now. Harris’s office has denied any such phone conversation and termed the news as ‘inaccurate’.

It’s quite possible that the VP and the administration, the political bureau running the current administration, did not like PM Modi’s statement on the failure of not protecting the opposition leader who nearly got assassinated, and the videos suggest many warned the police and the secret service people.
This is what Modi said, “Deeply concerned by the attack on my friend, former President Donald Trump. Strongly condemn the incident. Violence has no place in politics and democracies.”
“Wish him speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased, those injured and the American people,” the Prime Minister added.
