Ishaan Khatter Making A Mark In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, CA – Actor Ishaan Khatter has made a successful US debut in ‘The Perfect Couple’, where he stars alongside Nicole Kidman. Khatter plays Shooter Dival, the best man and childhood friend of the groom, a role originally written for a white character in Elin Hilderbrand’s novel.

Director Susanne Bier cast Khatter based on his talent, not ethnicity, a decision that has paid off as the show quickly shot to No. 1 on Netflix after its September 5 premiere.

Khatter expressed his excitement to People magazine about working with such a seasoned cast, saying, “One of the things I thoroughly enjoyed was working with wonderful people who were generous and kind.” Reflecting on his experience with Kidman, he shared, “She was as normal as any other actor on set… It’s going to be one of the pleasures of my young career.”

With ‘The Perfect Couple’ marking a major milestone, Khatter has already secured another Netflix project, ‘The Royals’, in which he will play Prince Charming.

His foray into Hollywood has been a remarkable success, setting the stage for a promising international career.
