LOS ANGELES, CA – Voice of SAP (VOSAP) successfully raised over $1 million during its annual fundraiser on September 21, aimed at empowering Specially Abled People.
Voice of SAP, a U.S.-based non-profit with Special Consultative Status at the UN Economic and Social Council, works as a catalyst for transforming the lives of Specially Abled People.
The event was supported by VOSAP’s founding patrons BU and Pushpa Patel of the Tarsadia Foundation, alongside several philanthropists and leaders from the community and tech sectors.
Key patrons, Manubhai and Rikaben Shah, shared a poem they had written about VOSAP’s vision, inspiring attendees to contribute. They also pledged to match donations up to $500,000, motivating the audience to exceed the fundraising goal. Among the contributors was a former youth volunteer, now a successful entrepreneur, who pledged $50,000.
Pranav Desai, VOSAP’s founder, highlighted the organization’s transformative impact on the lives of over 27,000 Specially Abled People. He outlined his Vision 2047, which aims to empower this community to contribute up to $1 trillion to India’s economy by 2047. Desai explained the potential economic multiplier effect, noting that a $100 donation could generate as much as $10,000 in economic impact.
Desai also introduced Project Hitarth, launched in May 2024, which focuses on expanding healthcare access for intellectually disabled individuals in India. VOSAP has partnered with government programs like Niramaya to ensure that families receive essential healthcare services. This model was well-received by donors.
During the event, the City of Artesia, CA, recognized VOSAP’s mission with a certificate from mayor Tony Lima, presented by pro tem mayor Ali Sajjad Taj.
Entertainment was provided by VOSAP youth ambassador and singer Sparsh Shah. Volunteers Dr. Dhiren Buch and Priyanka Dujari also contributed to the evening’s entertainment.

The woke need to stop word salad.
Specially abled?
What special ability do these unfortunate people have other than give the useless donor people an opportunity to tell the world that they are philanthropists.
Best social service is done silently.
