Tomato Pickle Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Tomato
- 1 cup Vinegar
- 200 ml Oil
- 100 g Green Chilli
- 60 g Salt
- 60 g Mustard Seeds
- 50 g Garlic
- 50 g Ginger
- ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Few Curry Leaves
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Instructions:
- Wash tomatoes and cut into four pieces.
- Grind mustard seeds to a fine powder.
- Grind garlic and ginger with vinegar.
- Heat oil, add fenugreek seeds, and let them splutter for a few seconds.
- Add curry leaves and garlic-ginger paste, then fry for 10 minutes.
- Add chopped green chilli, red chilli powder, mustard powder, and turmeric to the fried mixture.
- Add tomatoes and cook until oil separates.
- Add vinegar and cook for 5 minutes.
- Fill into a bottle and seal.
