Radhi Spear Named President Of Toastmasters International

ANAHEIM, CA – Radhi Spear a resident of Piscataway, New Jersey, has been named the new International President of Toastmasters International, the world’s leading organization focused on communication and leadership development.

Spear began her one-year term during the 2024 International Convention, which took place here in August.

A seasoned software engineer with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Spear works for AT&T in Middletown, New Jersey. Her extensive expertise includes software development, systems administration, and acceptance testing, with her work impacting millions of users.

She holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is actively involved in AT&T employee resource groups such as Women of AT&T and InspirASIAN, which support professional growth and leadership development, a press release said.

A Toastmasters member since 2000, Spear is a charter member of the AT&T Middletown Toastmasters club and has held several leadership roles within the organization. She holds the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, the highest recognition in Toastmasters.

Reflecting on the organization, Spear said, “Toastmasters is an investment in yourself. The skills you learn can be applied to all areas of life.”

In her new role as International President, Spear leads the Toastmasters Board of Directors, working alongside the 2024–2025 Executive Committee to guide the organization’s mission.
